Custom made earplugs for sleeping

Help! I have inconsiderate and loud neighbours and really really need to get some sleep consistently. I have lots of earplugs but just cannot fall asleep with them in. Last night I lay there for hours with them in (until 4.30am). Does anyone have any recommendations for custom made earplugs? Specsavers do them for £78 and I am willing to throw money at the problem at this point but wondered if anyone has used them - do they block sounds effectively? And are they comfortable?

Or any other recommendations? DH is going to try speaking to the neighbours, but it is one than one household and I don't have high hopes and we are saving to move.

I really like the wax one you get in boots. I wear them every night without issue and they block out pretty much all noise bar a huge noise which you’d probably want to wake you up!!

Thanks @justanotherneighinparadise - do they go like into your ear / or sit on the outside, if you see what I mean? I think I have small ears and everything feels slightly painful over the hours.

Have you tried the silicone ones? I find them the most comfortable and most effective at blocking noise.....and dh snores like a train!

I do find them too big so split them in two, you then press them around the ear hole rather than into it,p iyswim, the silicone is quite ‘sticky’ so seals to the ear and blocks off noise. They are meant to be single use but I use them a few times, I just keep them in a little box to keep them clean when not in use

I know what you mean OP, I have used them sometimes and my ears ache over the course of the night, and often when I wake I have removed them in my sleep. DH uses them nightly with no problem, the silicone ones like pp above has said, I’ve found those the most comfortable, don’t use too much and try to cover the entrance rather than insert.

In your ear. I cut them in half with scissors (they have a cardboard interior and just squish’s them in my ears.

Go to snorestore and buy a selection of earplugs. I found my perfect earplugs this way and then bulk bought!

Flare audio do sleep earplugs called sleeep. The foams come in different sizes and I use the small ones.

Sympathies I have the same problem! Wax ear plugs have helped tremendously and fit my ears better than the silicone and foam ones.
