Do people still buy children's clothes on ebay?

Ive got some beautiful things my daughter has worn once or twice or not at all (still with labels). I'm an ebay newbie and have no idea how it works.
She has a few things that were about forty pounds new (designer dress and top shop jeans) and worn twice and a few more that are a bit cheaper (joules, phase eight) and pre loved. And some cheap leggings (primark) with labels. Is it worth putting on ebay or something? Should I bundle them up into one lot?

Definitely worth a try, I know lots of people who buy second hand clothes for kids. Designer type dresses worn once better sold separately, good condition other stuff may be better in a bundle, unlike to get someone buying second hand Primark leggings on own as with postage added would probably be same price as new.

Facebook would be better. Especially if you go for local selling groups because people can collect and you don't have to worry about delivery/post.

Yes, I brought DS a new winter coat on eBay last week, still had the labels attached and was only £20, less than half of what I would have paid in the shop.

Have a look on eBay and see what you want to sell is currently selling for and price appropriately. Sell cheaper stuff as a bundle so it makes it worthwhile to the buyer, ie 4 cheap pairs of leggings and 3 cheap tops for £10 rather then try to sell individually.

Yes-even though mine are all teens. In fact I bought my 16yo a little black dress she fancied the other day.

I do, you could also try vinted!

Depop and Facebook good for bundles and individual items. I buy pretty much all second hand but haven't used eBay for that purpose yet.

Yes they do, and during lock down clothing bundles were going for a lot of money. Have a look at the type of thing you're wanting to sell.

I’ve sold second hand children’s clothes everywhere. I know it can be a bit more of a faff, but I’d defo recommend eBay over everywhere else. Designer clothes in good condition sell really well, they go for far more on eBay than I could make for them on fb etc

Interesting. I havent done very well with childrens clothing. How do you all display yours? I hang the clothing against a white door, so shape and colour can be seen. I am not a very good photographer.

In the past few mo the I have made a fair bit selling dd second hand clothes. The cheaper items I bundle up and start at £3 for 10 items.

MegaClutterSlut · 18/08/2020 17:33

I would sell the designer on ebay but the cheaper brands I'd bundle up and sell on fb or shpock
