Wetsuits for tall curvy women

Looking for recommendations for wetsuit (full) that suit tall, curvy body types (size 16, 5'9). Finding any sort of wetsuit that's in stock at the moment seems nearly impossible. I assume everyone has panic bought them to go on a UK holiday in the next month. But it seems particularly difficult to find anything that isn't a size 4. Price really no object at this point. I'd be grateful for anything that fits that's in stock.

Try signing up for Sport Pursuit - they’re a flash sales site. You get lots of emails but also some really good deals - I got a £90 top for £9.99 a few weeks ago.

They have one women’s wetsuit in L at the moment which is expensive, but they get new things in all the time so worth being signed up IMO.

I got two kids' wetsuits from here earlier this summer and they were excellent and arrived next business day - they have UK size 16 in stock?

Look on scuba diving websites and even phone them, usually really helpful. Mike's Dive and Deep Blue something? are 2 I've used.
Don't be tempted to buy a man's wetsuit, totally the wrong shape.

There's a few online sellers that you might try. If you google wetsuit warehouse there's a few similiarly named suppliers, I don't know if they're all the same people or not wetsuit warehouse, outlet, centre etc. Also decathlon, but maybe they're sold out?

What do you want the wetsuit for - there's different ones for diving, surfing, swimming, other watersports or simply not getting cold while messing about in cold water.

My diving wetsuit was just over £200, but it's a semi dry, which means it's better for water that's a bit colder and it's very stretchy, which means that it fits well and is a bit easier to put on, but it's a bit tight at the moment, so I wear a rash suit underneath so it's easier to get on.

Have you tried a local surf, dive or watersports shop? They'll be able to advise on whether any particular brand is better for fit, whether it be womens with a tall option, or mens that are Ok for curvier figures (probably less of an option because the top half will be too big, especially if you're a curvy pear - the sizing you'll need to get your bum in will mean the top half will be too big on the shoulders. Also women tend to have longer legs and shorter bodies than men of the same height).

Have you considered a dry suit? I think my 5/4/3 wetsuit is O'Neill and is a 16 but I did wish at the time I'd bought a dry suit - depends what you're using it for I guess but might be easier to source and more forgiving in sizing - option to get men's too...

It's for wild swimming, mostly rivers and lakes, not surfing or the sea (mostly fresh water). I want something with a lot of flexibility/stretchy. I don't want something cheap from Go Outdoors that I can't move in or will fall apart. Wetsuit Centre doesn't even seem to carry most women's wetsuits above a 12/14. And the one or two they do are out of stock (actually nearly everything is out of stock, I'm finding for any one wetsuit I can find, they only have one size in stock and it's usually a 2 or a 4).

Try a local surf/water sports place. It is possible to get them made to measure if price really isn't relevant.

Try Two Bare Feet, lots of choices when I bought some wetsuits and wetsuit jackets last month. Good quality and quick delivery. Good size range too, highly recommend

@mindutopia - Orca, Zone 3, Huub, Wiggle and Speedo all do open water swimming wetsuits in different fits. I've seen all shapes and sizes in them where we've been open water swimming. Depending on where you go, you might not need one though - last night's water temp was nearly 23C and my DTs haven't worn their wetsuits for nearly a month now although DH wears his for the buoyancy aspect.

And Yonda - their customer service is apparently very good too
