Wondering if I’m the only one tonight or if there are others out there who feel the same.

Do you have anyone can have your son tomorrow? I would drop my kid off at my parents then go to work. I couldn't take time off. Its a very difficult juggling act. Mine wanted my attention, but whatever I did was never enough. So I learnt to set the rules. It had to be how I would cope best, because I was the one everyone would turn to.

Just my experience. Its all different for everyone, and as PP said, the hidden part of parenting.

@CaffeineInfusion
That really helps thanks .I am working at home but it is stressful and I will be useless after being here all night and seems like won’t get home until after CAMHS seen him which will be anyone’s guess .
I will have to ring my boss and I will cry and I will hate that

I know it's tough. Have a hug.

Now, sleep!! It's late. You will. Camhs won't turn up for hours. They'll breeze in, stay for 5 mins, tell you they'll arrange an appt, for which you will have to take time off work in a months time, blah blah blah... then go. In my opinion, they are a total waste of time.

Make yourself comfortable. Sleep. Work from home tomorrow. Cry if you need to but not to your boss.

Deal with the repercussions tomorrow. The middle of the night is not the time. You will feel better in your own home. So, I suspect, will your son. Mine never remembered the following day. That used to piss me off big time.

Pan hope you have got some sleep.
