Spotting for over a week at 7 weeks

Hello!

I’ve had 3 previous miscarriages which all started with spotting and I’ve had 1 normal pregnancy. Now I’m 7 weeks pregnant and have had spotting for a week already. I’ve got a scan on Tuesday but I’m so scared they won’t find anything. I’m so heartbroken cuz I don’t want to go through another miscarriage again but with my previous miscarriages.. they all ended within days of spotting & bleeding.

I still feel like I’m holding onto some sort of hope with this one as it’s been just spotting so far..

Has anyone else had any similar situations? I’d really appreciate any feedback ❤️

Big hugs, it's scary I know.

My first question would be, did you have any spotting at the beginning of your full term pregnancy?

It may be time to ask for a referral to someone who can check through the most common causes of m/c. Just because you've had one pg go well, doesn't mean you can't find a cause that could be rectified.

Thanks hun

I had been referred to the gynaecologist before the lockdown, but the appointments all got cancelled & I ended up getting pregnant again. I had a scan last Tuesday where they could see a sack but nothing else. The midwife told me, it’s either too early to tell or the pregnancy is failing. So I’ve got another this coming week

I didn’t have any spotting with my full term pregnancy. That was normal other than my late preeclampsia

I know how horrible it is when you see a post that relates to your personal situation but there’s no update. So I thought I’d update .. I ended up having my 4th miscarriage with a pair of twins 2 days after I last posted 💔

I’m currently being seen by a gynaecologist who has been doing scans and tests to see why it keeps happening. Fingers crossed next time it’s a sticky one

Good luck to whoever’s reading ❤️
