I need to get out of this rut and improve my life

The days are just passing me by and I do nothing. I don’t watch anything on tv, I haven’t picked up a book or magazine, I do the minimum amount of work I have to and the minimum amount of cleaning.
I hardly ever eat fruit or vegetables and eat a lot of food that’s pretty bad to be honest. My clothes are getting tighter.
I have no hobbies and don’t do any exercise apart from walking and that’s just to ensure dcs get out.
I don’t see many friends because I look crap.
I am definitely not depressed and my dc are well cared for. I just don’t seem to be able to look out for myself. I’ve got into a rut that I can’t seem to get out of.

@stellarblether the challenge sounds good. I might have a look. Have you done one before?
I feel like I need someone to tell me what to do sometimes. It gets too much as I seem to make all the decisions for the dcs and home and I find I don’t have any energy for myself.

I've been in the same position before and it does suck. I get lazy with food too and snacking and naughty foods become the only highlight.

Setting goals even small ones is important. Are you on your own phone a lot because I find that really becomes a bad habit and stops me from enjoying other things. Set limits like I won't look at social media until later this evening. I'll find a film to watch and properly follow it.

I know you say you don't exercise and I understand it's not appealing to most (I was one) but it's really helped me and given me something to work towards and was amazing to me in lockdown. I have Les Mills on Demand and have got much fitter. They have plans you can follow.

@PaperPlane
No not done one before but as soon as I did I joined a group on FB and that's helped.
Like @sociallydistained says, exercise does help and the days I do exercise first thing I feel great all day. It's the momentum I need.
