Sorry not read all thread, there has been too much inconsistencies in what schools and teachers have done. Some have been working normally either on line, or with key worker dc.
Some have had more workload and clearly, many have also not been working.
There have been discrepancies in only my town. Some have had work, others not and just left with a huge massive deal made out of the one phone call every week!
I don't know how or why there has been inconsistency, and why one school staff can produce weekly work and others can't?
Anyway, it's not looking promising for schools going back. I'm seeing totally opposite data about schools and spread being OK, then others saying no!
I just wish masks and visors could be introduced.
Children have been raised in war zones, in famine or with air raids and gas masks.
Is asking for masks and visors really too much for them? Just 1 sneeze or cough could infect nearly a whole stuffy small room packed with students!
No schools I know will give even basic advice to students to keep them in the same page, eg, sneeze or cough into tissue or crook of arm or into jumper! If nothing else available!!
Perhaps some public info vides should be compulsory viewing eg the one where they put luminous stuff down and let small dc do normal class, by the end all of them and the room were covered in luminous stuff like dye..
Perhaps things like that to visually show them and other teachers how easily it's spreads.
I've met more people who are bad tempered about having to take precautions and whipp masks off etc than who are concerned and want to prevent spread.
We need protecting from our colleagues too.
