What would you recommend? I can only find ones that are fashion, cooking, interiors etc focused. I want like a Cosmo but for a slightly older demographic. Any suggestions?!

Viz. always makes me laugh

Oly4 · 29/07/2020 21:20

Since the age of 35 I’ve read Good Housekeeping and Woman and Home. Occasionally Red.
Some bits are a bit old but I generally like them all.
I still enjoy magazines

Halfstonehomerun · 29/07/2020 21:22

See if your local library subscribes to RBdigital or PressReader, both are free services with loads of digital edition magazines.

Grazia

I used to love magazines pre DC and now they are a bit older, I have a bit more time but struggling to find one that suits. Will have a look at these, thanks

Red, Grazia. Vanity Fair is good if you want a bit more of a meaty read.

No more than Cosmo. It’s how magazines make their profit.
SamSeabornforPresident · 29/07/2020 21:25

I read Grazia when I read anything. There are a few slightly longer type articles but it's fairly light.

Viz. The Atlantic, private eye, new scientist.

My husband has a subscription to Delayed Gratification which is always so interesting.

Awkwarddough · 29/07/2020 21:27

Download Readly app. It’s £8ish per month and there are hundreds of magazines on there. Lots of cooking, style, parenting, home, craft.... literally everything, well known ones too.

I think with a bit of googling you’ll be able to find a free trial.

There’s even puzzle mags!

AdriannaP · 29/07/2020 21:34

Economist, Grazia, Vanity Fair
Not Cosmo or Glamour!

Cam2020 · 29/07/2020 23:12

I like Red.

Esbm2015 · 29/07/2020 23:29

Prima, Red, Good Housekeeping, Woman and Home

happydivorcee · 29/07/2020 23:31

You could pay £7.99 a month for Readly and choose from lots of different magazines on your iPad?
