Worried toddler is too thin

My DD is 24 months old. I weighed her about a month ago, and and weighted 24lb. I weighed her again today, and she is still 24lb.

She has definitely had a growth spurt in the last few weeks as most of her leggings are suddenly too short. However I've just checked, and at 24lb she seems to be below average weight.

She is still breastfed at bedtime and sometimes at naptime. I would have said she is a good eater- child sized bowl of porridge at breakfast, lunch is usually something like leftovers, scrambled egg, soup, crackers, cheese, fruit. Dinner usually pasta, sausage and mash, lentil soup and cheese toastie, stew, curry and rice. Snacks are fruit, bread sticks, greek yogurt. She eats absolutely anything and everything not in huge amounts - we did BLW and I have never pushed her to eat more if she doesn't want to. I bake fairly regularly, so a couple of times a week she'll have a slice of fruit cake or a cookie or something. She doesn't really eat sweets but likes to nick DH's Pringles.

Does this sounds like she's too thin and not getting enough food? She's quite active, we have a big garden that she spends hours in, go for frequent walks in nearby woods and fields, and to be honest she only really sits still if I put the TV on

What line is she on now, what line was she on previously and has she generally tracked the same line?

The above would give much better context but generally I wouldn’t be worrying about no weight gain in one month, just reviewing on the same kind of basis.

I don't think toddlers get heavier every month like babies do. Have you still got her red book? If she was a lighter baby she could just be following a lower curve on the centiles line.

It sounds fine to me if she's getting enough food and isn't hungry. My DS has always been very skinny, he's a beanpole like his dad.

Plot her height and weight in her red book. If she's on similar centiles for both, and hasn't crossed two lines, she's likely fine.

Diet-wise, is she eating enough carbs, protein and dairy?

Why are you weighing her monthly? She's not a baby. DD used to do this. Chub up, shoot up.

She's a decent eater, plus milk. Unless there are other worries, I'd put the scales down and relax.

I agree that no weight gain in a month isn’t concerning. Her diet sounds good and varied. As long as she’s well in herself I wouldn’t worry at all.

I think her red book is still in a box from moving house Blush but as far as I remember she was 50th centile for weight and 90th for height. That could be wrong, it's amazing how quickly you forget these things though they seem huge at the time.
I'll have to dig it out to check. She was 7'11 at birth. I'm almost a stone over my ideal weight due to a 9pm lockdown chocolate issue coinciding with throwing my back out for a month, but am usually a healthy weight and would usually say DH and I have a good grasp of what constitutes a balanced diet

I'm not weighing her monthly. I got scales for the first time a month ago because I needed to work on aforementioned weight gain and weighed her through curiosity. Then today I was weighing a parcel and she jumped on

Just checked online and she’s between the 25th and 50th centiles. Doesn’t sound like anything to worry about.
