So, today we did 'bread slime' - in other words I made bread dough and then gave the dc a portion each to play with (hygienically) before shaping and baking it, and the eating their own creation with dinner.

They'd been wanting to do slime and I can't stand the stuff so I thought this was a good compromise.

Anyone care to share ideas?

We've made a small wildlife pond for the garden, we asked on a local freebies group for any suitable containers and were given a belfast type sink but you can also use an old dustbin lid or garden trough.

Geocaching is a great way to get out in the fresh air and now works brilliantly from the app (long gone are the days of manually plugging the coordinates into a handheld GPS!)
