WFH seems for many to be a dream but what about young people who are starting out in their careers. If they are lucky enough not to have the rug pulled out and their hard won grad scheme cancelled, how on earth do you properly learn a job without being in with experienced colleagues?

By great mentoring, communication and support programmes. As well as training and development opportunities. My current role was a change from previous and always wfh. Honestly with the above it's possibly even easier to be more successful than office based where often people assume that everyone's on the same page, so to Speak.

I imagine a change of career is easier than that first proper job after uni.
If all you've ever done is part time work while at school and uni then it's a huge change.

DD and several of her friends have done this, she feelsvery lucky to have started training during lockdown because so many are strugglingto find jobs. She is being well supported and mentored but it's so much harder to ask for help and advice when you have to do it remotely.
