If money were no object, what film or TV prop would you love to own?

It's in the news that a Darth Vader costume is being auctioned with an expected price of £200,000. While I wouldn't be interested in Star Wars memorabilia, there are some film props I would definitely like to own if money were no object.

I've decided my pick would be the bunny from Con Air. I could display it in a box and tell visitors in my home to 'put the bunny back in the box' if they looked at it Grin.

What would your choice be?

@SistersOfPercy

I collect replica props. This is one corner of my dining room. I have about ten full size, wearable, Star Wars costumes.

It's not a cheap hobby 😂

They are absolutely amazing! So jealous!

A Dalek, they had one in the local garden centre but it was a couple of thousand

Long claw.
The cats paw dagger.
Needle.
Oath keeper and Brienne of Tarth’s armour.
Sansa’s Queen of the North outfit from the last episode - utterly beautiful.
Can you tell I’m a GoT fan ?
Some Walking dead stuff too:
Rick’s gun and hat
Daryl’s crossbow
Lucille.
We visited the Weta Workshop in New Zealand - the stuff they had in the shop from LotR/ Hobbit was incredible.

I'd have Buffys whole house, failing that a few head stones just so I can drag them out at Halloween.

There's also a massive piece of art, a black and white vase painting on the way to Daphnes bedroom on Fraiser that I would have my eye on if it ever came up.

Wow! Those are really impressive - you wouldn't know them from the originals.

Trailing1 · 17/07/2020 16:21

The McAllister House in Home Alone.

Deathraystare · 17/07/2020 16:22

Weoll, never seen it but in Belle du Jour apparently a big bottle of Mitsouko gets broken. I would like it unbroken please!

Knowhowufeel2 · 17/07/2020 16:23

Full size Weeping angel or Dalek or the TARDIS

fairydustandpixies · 17/07/2020 16:24

The Chucky doll!

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 17/07/2020 16:25

Baby, the Chevy Impala from Supernatural.

And DS and I have a wish-list of "Badass Longcoats" from our favourite films and TV series (it's a actual TV Trope here so it's not just us Grin) so a whole collection of those hanging up in the hall would be fine. Think Spike's coat from Buffy and you get the idea...

LunaNorth · 17/07/2020 16:30

Olivia Craig’s green robe from The Haunting of Hill House.

Father Jack’s brick.

Rocky’s grey marl sweatsuit.

Graphista · 17/07/2020 16:32

I have 2 if I could have them both I'd be SO happy!

The sofa from central perk in friends

The book of shadows from the ORIGINAL charmed.

I'd also be very happy if I could own the handlink from quantum leap

If we're talking houses then Halliwell manor and Emily/Amanda's beach house from Revenge would be lovely!

Don't even get me started on clothes and shoes!

BearSoFair · 17/07/2020 16:32

Sliced up Beverly Katz from Hannibal
Or a dalek!

SistersOfPercy · 17/07/2020 16:36

Thanks @Pelleas
I tend to be really picky and only have props with lineage, Han is cast from one of the original production moulds. The head was cast from Harrison Ford but the body is one of the production assistants.

Same with 3PO and R2, in fact R2 is cast from bits pulled from a skip at Shepperton (the stuff they threw away would make you cry)

Few more bits here. If you see a Star Wars helmet then there is most likely the rest of the costume to go with it (Darth Aside), unfortunately I don't have the room for that many mannequins.
I also have a life size Jessica and Roger Rabbit in the kitchen Blush and a life size ET.
As for Baby from Supernatural. I have poster that I've been dragging around to cons for years thats missing just 2 signatures, Sam Smith and Jim Beaver. I'd hoped to be able to complete it this year but Covid has thwarted my plans lol

Ooooh if I could have a house then it would be the Aunts house from Practical Magic, always loved the look of it Grin

Knowhowufeel2 · 17/07/2020 17:01

Also, car wise would be difficult to pin down.

I pretty much love all the cars in the Fast and Furious films; especially the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and the Dodge Challenger SRT-8.

I love Michael J Fox's character's car in Doc Hollywood and his Delorean in BTTF.

MintyJones · 17/07/2020 17:02

The Moose eggnog glasses from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

LunaNorth · 17/07/2020 17:03

If I can have a house, then I’ll have Grace and Frankie’s beach house, please and thank you.
