If you were embarking on a battle with Stephen King's It, what form would it take to attempt to kill you?

I would probably say a clown, but I appreciate that is almost certainly because of the book itself. (I was always uneasy about clowns but didn't realise others shared that until I read the book.

Maybe the alien from Alien might have been mine.

A middle aged, female social worker.

slipperywhensparticus · 15/07/2020 21:37

spider I would literally freak or slime like bogeys I would be vomiting so hard I would be easy to catch Grin

barberousbarbara · 15/07/2020 21:41

A horse. I'm still traumatised from being bitten by one as a child. as Sherlock Holmes said 'They're dangerous at both ends and crafty in the middle'

weareyoung · 15/07/2020 22:20

A small, enclosed space with no possibility of escape.

Or, failing that, alcohol-free gin.

whathaveijustseen · 15/07/2020 22:22

A giant wasp

PseuDenim · 15/07/2020 22:23

An enormous praying mantis.

Huge pool of bin juice.

PeggyBundy · 15/07/2020 23:41

A giant bottle of milk

MaxNormal · 15/07/2020 23:54

A giant who is made of stone and moves really slowly and deliberately and will find me no matter what.

DefConOne · 16/07/2020 00:07

A primary school headteacher (I have a child with SN). One in particular still gives me nightmares.

ThreeFish · 16/07/2020 00:09

A spider web. I would freak and give up.

purpledagger · 16/07/2020 00:25

Giant frog.

One of those rainbow ones crossed with the frog that has the babies that come out of its back.

Coffeeandcookies · 16/07/2020 00:35

Enforced confinement for months with children who have nowhere to go and nothing to do other than make incessant demands on me.

Cocolapew · 16/07/2020 00:37

Anything with lots of holes, especially if the holes have something in the middle of them.
Or a whale with barnacles on it.
🤢🤢🤢🤮

Allywill · 16/07/2020 00:38

Some kind of rodent. Rat would be the obvious one but tbh a hamster would prob do the job just as well.

Allywill · 16/07/2020 00:40

Or a nun with a ruler...

EveryPlanetHasAYorkshire · 16/07/2020 01:40

A giant moth.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 16/07/2020 04:38

A big long tall ship in dry dock.

BalloonSlayer · 16/07/2020 07:05

Oh gosh MaxNormal, that's reminded me. Given that the kids in the book get terrorised by 'real' versions of things they've seen in the movies, mine might be the metal giant from Jason and the Argonauts. The way it turns its head to look at them with a menacing creak gave me nightmares.
So yeah him. With a few orange pom poms.
