Advice please on Faulty Washing Machine

Hi all, I know in the big scheme of things this is a first World problem but wondering if anyone can give me some advice.
My washing machine stopped working 28th June. Under 2 years old and still under warranty.
Phone Siemens and they said they would send an engineer but would be a week.
Engineer turns up and says the PCB board is broken and replaces it. Great a weeks worth of washing can be done.
Halfway through programme and it breaks again.
Phone the repair department and after speaking to the engineer said it probably needs another new PCB board?? Can't come out for another week.
I contacted Siemens to complain and spoke to someone in the chat through their website.
I explained the situation. Said I really can't wait another week for the engineer. My DH and DS need fresh clean clothes for work and DD needs fresh uniform for school.
I'm also looking after my parents and need to wear clean clothes to visit them.
I'm worried that after the next visit he can't fix it and I will have to wait again.
I asked them to either replace the machine or refund my money so I can purchase a new one as things are quite desperate now.
They said I'm priority and will get back to me within 24 hours.
Spoke to someone today and they said no someone will get back to you 24-48 Business hours!
I'm getting really stressed over this. Any advice please?

I had the exact same thing and argued every which way to no avail. It took six weeks to fix. I no longer get an extended warranty for this reason. For the first year your contract is with the shop and after that I just pay for a repair or replace.

It could well be that the first PCB broke, but my guess that it is something more.

@PigletJohn might be able to suggest something.

Don't get stressed about it. Do you have a neighbour or relative whose machine you could use, or are there launderettes nearby?

There are some kerbside ones, I think now.

I’d google local laundrettes. You can’t make them come out any quicker and it may even take longer if they have staff furloughed or shielding.

Do your parents not have one you can use whilst you're there?

An immediate thought was, is your machine standing on a level surface? Heavy loads and an uneven surface can put strain on a machine.
My second thought was, machine still in warranty, same fault twice in a short space of time, invoke warranty and get a new machine as there are clearly "issues".

What a pain, I can’t be without a washing machine either, mine broke once while my DS’ were very young, engineers couldn’t visit for a week, there was literally a washing mountain in the utility room, no way did I have time to go to the laundromat, we were also about to go on holiday. I just went into electrical store & brought a new machine that we could takeaway, annoying but worth it to me at the time. I hope you get it sorted out ASAP.

Thank you everyone. Yes I think I will have to take washing to my parents. I guess that would be ok if I handle it and they stay in another room? Just didn't want to put them at risk. I'm a bit stressed about this virus Sad
