My perfect house...

Has come on the market. It has everything I could wish for:
Fantastic views,
Period features to die for,
Modern well equipped kitchen,
Library
More than enough bedrooms,
Skylight above the stairs
Outbuilding with potential,
Veg beds and space for a greenhouse.

Only problem it is right the other end of the country, jobs and family are all here. Sad

That is amazing, I absolutely love that house and could quite happily pack up and move there!

Fanthorpe · 07/07/2020 07:20

That windmill could be amazing. Very badly presented and photographed though.

EasilyDelighted · 07/07/2020 07:31

That is stunning and I love the area. Pity I live and work in SE England.

@weepingwillow22 now that is my cup of tea!!

Oh, I agree with that but it's a WINDMILL! By the seaside!!

Glares at unimaginative DH who won't even countenance it*

so quaint love it

Fanthorpe · 07/07/2020 09:54

Ah Greebo I feel your pain, I’ve dragged my DH to look at a couple of houses in the past that could have been really wonderful but he just doesn’t get it. I’d love to live in an interesting house. Skylights, more than one staircase, nooks, French windows, landings with chairs on, sash windows, a view of water etc.

LEELULUMPKIN · 07/07/2020 10:01

Not for me either. My dream home would have no neighbours.

finished31 · 07/07/2020 10:02

Wow!

roarfeckingroar · 07/07/2020 10:51

What's appalling is I'm going to be spending that amount on a tiny three bed that needs lots of work next year in the south east.

GloriousTechnicolour · 07/07/2020 11:02

I like the Argyle and Bute house a LOT and it is an amazing price for what you get. I also live in Scotland, and in the location I live, a similar house would be extremely expensive.
