I like reading about random stuff, usually pick up links from one page to the next.

Type of stuff I like or have read before- remote islands/tribes, Everest/K2 climbers, conspiracy theories/mysteries etc. Historical stuff works too

This is a fun rabbit hole to go down: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_biggest_box-office_bombs

A bit more serious: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_people_who_disappeared

Not necessarily a wiki page, and you may have read this already if you’re into remote islands, but found this this morning and thought it was interesting! www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020/07/06/how-prosperity-transformed-the-falklands

How about geology, look up the types of rock where you live. Also the history of the study of geology, discovering seashells on a hilltop had something to do with it IIRC.

This might lead you to fossil hunting, and the English women from Lyme Regis who were the early leaders in this field.

Romanov impostors.

The list of residents who spent their final years at the Motion Picture and Television Fund nursing home in Hollywood — everyone from Mary Astor and Norma Shearer to Hattie McDaniel and Jonny Weissmuller.

Look up cemeteries in interesting places - I like the Hollywood ones and the London Victorian cemeteries then you can read all about the lives of the people buried there

It’s not a Wikipedia page (although I’m sure there prob is one!) but the podcast Death in Ice Valley had me gripped. Such an interesting mystery.
