Why are your family arguing this morning?

DD is trying to argue that a person who has a longer running stride covers distances differently.

DS is absolutely enrages by this and is arguing that 5k/10k etc are fixed distances.

DD is now at the point of realising she’s wrong but completely refusing to abandon the party line.

Happy family moments in lockdown!

"can I have skittles?"
"no"
"can I have oreos?"
"no"
"can I have purple juice?"
"no"

I'm considering deleting the youtube app on the tv.

Me and dc7 about the usual: random loud noises from him, constant asking snacks from him, constant talking while having lunch and his food getting cold etc ad nauseam. I love him but sometimes I really want to put him up for sale on ebay (laughing crying). I just want some quiet!

I’m fine here. But my 16 year old is not up yet. So when he does he will say there is no food. He will moan nothing is in the kitchen as we are stripping the ceiling and that is making too much noise.
Sigh. It’s better when he is asleep Grin

A total inability to find something that is right in front of them, arguments about who is and isn't getting dressed! I'm going to do the food shopping in peace to get out of here!

Goldistheanswer · 28/06/2020 13:21

One child getting up from the sofa for literally seconds and another child jumping into their place. Cue massive argument.

MissCalamity · 28/06/2020 13:24

DD being her normal messy self, leaving destruction in her wake, DP bawling that he is fed up cleaning up after her and as he goes back to work part time on Wednesday thank bloody God he's not going to do it anymore.

So, hooray every falls back to me even though I've still been working through out all this and will still be doing more hours than him. 😔

megletthesecond · 28/06/2020 13:25

11yr old DD. Wasn't fair that it was windy on the bike ride and she can't breathe. And that I didn't carry her coat. And that she hates long paths.

No arguing here.

We are all happy in different corners of the house, DS in his room on his Xbox, DH in the garden room watching F1 races he knows the outcome of. Confused
