Ds8 and DD3 are both wide awake....DD is chattering away to herself. At least DS is quiet.....go to bed!

Jury's out here. DS is six months and normally a good sleeper but has been grouchy and warmer than usual today due to the furnace that is our house.
Just put him down in nappy and a very thin grobag but fully expect to be up and down all night removing and adding layers and panicking that he's too hot or too cold
I hate this weather

Dd5 does not usually crash until 11.30. I'm having to watch a film until she drops off as I have my first time as tooth fairy tonight. It fell out at bed time so I also have to sneak the change from her piggy bank as we have none in the house due to contact less all the time.

Yep! Dd6 nodded off 30 minutes ago. Currently on the floor of dd8's room planning how to stealthily leave and not wake her or her brother who is next door, as they've only just fallen asleep and my dinner is waiting for me and I'm about to collapse with hunger

My whole street seems to be mowing their lawn. I haven't heard the ice cream van either so it's only a matter of time before that fuckwit chimes past

I've spent most of the evening fanning dd3 with a pillow

DS (3) is STILL awake. He's at least stopped bouncing off the walls and is now just low level whinging and dramatically sighing.

Late one for my 6yo but I put on that 'Rabbit who wanted to go to sleep' audiobook. Lots of yawns and tired talking. Fast asleep in 10 minutes

Saw this thread earlier and felt all smug because DD was up in bed at 7pm, then I went up at 9.30pm and heard giggling. Turns out she'd been colouring quietly by torchlight, fooling us and thought it was bloody hilarious that we didn't know.

Just spent 45 mins sat at her side waiting for her to start snoring.Grin

Both DS are asleep, just checked on 4yo and he has stripped himself off laying starfish on top of his bed and 9mo is probably sleeping the most peacefully he has done in weeks - I think the heat has knocked him out.

Never thought I'd be so relieved to be doing building works, we have no roof on the house at the moment and it's made the upstairs relatively cool.
