Homemade hamper ideas

My friend is moving house next week and I want to send her a hamper/gift box of homemade things as she’s going to be unpacking and decorating for a week.

I was sent an amazing hamper when DD was born with cake, flapjacks etc in and want to replicate something like that - easy to eat, everything’s got to last well for a couple of days and travel well.

Thinking biscotti, brownies, maybe some nice homemade popcorn, a fruit loaf, shortbread but maybe I need something savoury and popcorn might go stale quickly.

Any inspiration? Ideas on how to package the individual bits? What would you want to receive?

The one I was sent was from a proper company!

That would be too many sweet things for me - especially if they are homemade I think they’d just go off before they were finished - some oatcakes and chutney would be great, with brownies, fruitcake and biscotti. I’d add a few ship bought things that keep too, like nice tea/coffee, some nuts and a decent hard cheese.

I’ve just picked up some packs of peanuts, smoked salted almonds, mixed spiced nuts, oatcakes, and some olives and I’ve remembered a stash of courgette pickles I made a while back so I’ll pop some of those in too.

Thanks for all your ideas.
