School - how times have changed

My DS is 35 (this is relevant). I have been sorting through and scanning loads of old print photographs. One big eye opener is how relaxed people were in the late 80s about photogrqphs in primary school. I have tons of not only DS but lots of his friends in school. Some I think must have been taken when I volunteered to hear children read ( and theres another one - no hint of a dDRB check! Obviously the school knew I was no calories’.mum but that was all.

I also found a photo,of the contents of his lunch box - sandwich (wrapped so I can’t see what flavour), apple and packet of crisps. How would that be viewed today?

The lunch is still fairly standard - I know some schools have banned crisps but I don’t think it’s hugely common. I think the photographs are only an issue today because of how easily and widely they can be shared online.

I agree, the issue with photos is digital and online.

The photos is because everything ends up on social media and then gets shared with the whole world!
