Did anyone watch this documentary last night? The documentary stated page 3 would be Celebrating what would of been the 50th anniversary of page 3.
I wonder if it was due to the internet that stopped pg3 rather then the campaign to end it ? Money talks and now if you want to see topless females you can via Page 3, and page 3 was still online up until 2017!
Watching this documentary made me realise it was again sometimes rich men taking advantage of young naive girls.
As a young girl in my 20s I badly wanted to be a page 3 girl. I thought I had the looks and figure (slim with big bust) but I was rejected by the newspaper & partly due to being ethnic , I still persisted into trying to get into glamour modelling and I ended up being taking advantage of by another photographer and ended up doing a shoot that was exploiting, sleazy and more nude than page 3, and it's something that I deeply regret now. I regret that I wanted to do page 3 etc and I can see it for what it was but as a damaged young girl I thought that was validation, especially being ethnic it proved I was as attractive as the white girls.
My household had the newspaper every day and I was exposed to page 3 every day and I got brainwashed into thinking that it was normal to have nude females portrayed in the media .
I'm going off topic now but any views etc on the documentary etc last night?
