I have a letter from work, means zilch anyway.

WayTooBloodyTired · 18/06/2020 10:21

Nothing. Luckily I was never stopped but was on pins about being late because of it.

Sanch1 · 18/06/2020 10:22

A letter from 3 of my clients (all Government agencies) stating that I am a keyworker and need to go to site so cannot work from home all the time. Needed it to get my eldest into school as because I wasnt NHS or a teacher etc they didnt believe me!

SunbathingDragon · 18/06/2020 10:23

Work ID.

Lardlizard · 18/06/2020 10:54

Well we are kinda networkers at the moment anyway as we are all teachers Grin
It’s not naughty reasons but it’s nothing to do with sending my kids back to school or pushing in queues !

Why are you being so coy?

NCTDN · 18/06/2020 13:34

I've got a letter from my employers in my car in case it's needed.

Choice4567 · 18/06/2020 14:53

Ok. Well everyone has answered your question. And without saying why you need to know, the discussion is fairly closed out!

Rushhomeroad · 18/06/2020 15:07

I'd still like to know though!

Iwalkinmyclothing · 18/06/2020 15:11

Work ID badge and a letter from our employer

Love51 · 18/06/2020 15:16

A letter from work and our work passes.
School didn't want anything. Police were stopping people on the way to work at the start of lockdown but now people can travel they have stopped.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 18/06/2020 15:16

I have a letter from my employer. It was only in case I was asked my the police whether my journey was “essential” when I went to work. Around here all the special hours and discounts for key workers did not extend to school staff.

DamnShesaSexyChick · 18/06/2020 15:18

Why? You don’t have a job.

peppapigisscottish · 18/06/2020 15:21

Nothing other than my work email address.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 18/06/2020 15:26

Oh god it's you again
Yet another attention seeking pile of bollocks from this poster

PenguinsOnParade · 18/06/2020 15:31

DH has a letter from his work as well as a work ID badge. He hasn't needed to use either though. He did ask once at a supermarket when he needed stuff before a shift near the start of lockdown but it was an NHS only hour so they wouldn't let him in.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 18/06/2020 15:31

My lanyard

School know me as my children have attended for the past 16 years so no proof needed of job

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 18/06/2020 15:41

The C+E entitlement on my driving licence. Can't get preferential treatment, but it comes in handy at 0100.

This forum is anonymous so you can expand a bit more otherwise people will just get irritated by your thread...

A letter from my organisation alongside my ID badge. The letter on its own would be useless.

vodkaredbullgirl · 18/06/2020 16:33

someone bored

pinktaxi · 18/06/2020 17:36

ID badge is enough
