PIP Tribunal Solicitors

Does anyone know of a good no win no fee solicitors that deals with PIP Tribunals?

I have had my case temporarily set aside as my medical records were missing on the day, but I have been warned if I continue that I will lose my case.

For transparency I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis/mobility issues and care for my 19 year old with Asperger Syndrome. I also suffer from fibro fog so need help with physical tasks and those involving planning/remembering. I also have depression and anxiety linked to my the fact I have two kids with an ASD.

I have cared for him since he was eleven and the care I give involves prompting, keeping 'an eye' on him and preventing him from harming himself. He lives at home and has challenging behaviour, depression and anxiety.

I help him to moderate his emotions, talk to him when he wants to self harm, check he's eaten and has taken his medication and remind him to attend to his personal self-care.

I called the benefits advice line and they advised that there should be no reason for the appeal to question my caring role.

I am thinking that unless I can get some help I will have to withdraw my case.

Have you tried welfare rights and your local mp? Both helped my son win an esa tribunal.

You could see if you have a local Law Centre as many offer advice about benefits and may be able to provide representation at Tribunal. If not they should be able to inform you about other advice services in your area that might assist (if there are any).

Thanks both for your replies. I'll try your suggestions. I've been too upset today to think straight but upwards and onwards tomorrow!

If there is a foundation or charity for the illness/condition(s), they may very well have someone who will assist. It’s well worth contacting them.

The benefits and works website is amazing. Their guides are brilliant! And you can ask questions on a forum where you can get replies from experts. Well worth the membership fee.

Found the Fibromyalgia UK site today so will definitely check that out and also Benefits and Work.

Thanks all!
