So I’m looking to lose a substantial amount of weight, I know all the ins and outs, I know how to do it but I’m struggling with meal ideas. I’ve looked at insta, Pinterest, tiktok you name it. So what are you favourite healthy but simple and not faffy meals please?

My home made chilli - made with lean mince, lentils, fresh chillis, mushrooms. Served with wholegrain brown rice or a jacket potato, and green salad.

Chicken or prawn kebabs with rice and salad. Homemade, with or without marinade.

Spiced pulled pork (or chicken) in lettuce wraps.

Homemade chicken curry (with spices not paste or cooking sauce), add lentils to bulk and make more filling. Can use cauliflower rice if avoiding too many complex carbs.

Seafood stew.

Steak and salad.

Try the Pinch of Nom website. I am in a similar position to you and have made many of their meals. They are tasty, filling and generally healthy. Highly recommend

Basically OP, it's about cooking from scratch and avoiding empty calories. I lost 4 stone over a year and have kept it off.

I eat lots of fresh fruit and veg, lean protein. I limit carbs, and only eat unrefined carbs. I do eat cheese, but in small amounts. I don't eat bread at all.

Portion control is key too! But if you eat three healthy meals a day, based around foods that fill you up and do you good, you'll get there.

Good luck!
