Why can't I just get rid of the baby clothes?!

I know for sure that we are 'done' and we are not having any more children. I don't feel broody at all. But my youngest is 2 and I still can't get rid of the baby clothes. I planned to sell or pass much of it on as there are some lovely clothes in there that were hardly worn, but I still can't do it. Wtf is wrong with me?

I cleared it all out of my son's wardrobe ages ago and it's been sitting in piles waiting to be dealt with, but I just pick it up and think 'oh they looked so cute in that' and stuff it back in a bag.

Generally I am a declutterer so I don't know why I'm being like this. Someone please sort me out!

Could you give it to a friend or family.member, I love the joy of seeing another tiny one in my favourite Outfits. I also got my absolute favourites made into a blanket whcih we use for various things around the house or on ddvs bed in the winter, so I still see them all of the time.

I’ve had the special clothes made into blankets and the rest I’m not very sentimental over.

Can you get something special made with a few key items and recycle the rest?

I kept my favourite outfit from when each of mine was tidy, along with their first shoes.
Mind you, who will ever want them is anyone's guess!

Oh wow, I would never have thought of the blanket idea. Thank you!
I also have first shoes - no idea why I'm keeping them either Grin
