So am I going to be able to go to Scotland from England for my summer holiday?

Because according to Skyes cottages I can and they want me to pay the balance for my holiday at the first week in august on monday.

I live in Scotland and have a cottage here booked for 2nd week in August and it's still not definite that we are going to get, nor have they asked for the balance yet (not Sykes).

Tried to get through to Sykes without any joy so I have sent them an email requesting a change from scotland to north yorkshire.

Will see what happens.

Mrstidyhouse For remote Scottish areas I think it would depend on the covid numbers at that point. If infections in that area are negligible and the track and trace is operational, then providing the rest of the UK numbers are not too high, then it should be ok.
Difficulty is that you'd probably want to wait and see before making that policy decision and if that's the case you might as well keep it closed as people aren't going to book holidays unless they have some degree of certainty it will take place.
