For a 47 year old post menopausal, really unfit Lady???
I walk a minimum of 10k steps a day and but I honestly can't shift weight.
I have a skipping rope , dumbbells a 8kg kettle bell and a fit bit and I'm stumped.
I need to loose about 4 stone but I'm not looking for a quick fix just any solid advice or encouragement please

Try Georgie Fear 'Give yourself More'.

I am a similar age to you and having great success with just counting calories - I use My Fitness Pal. I have always been able to eat reasonably healthy meals, just too much of it and late night snacking.

I exercise using you tube videos and aim to do 30 minutes at least 6 days a week. I get bored easily so the fact that there are loads of different ones suits me.

Same age as you op & surgical menopause (recently) so now HRT but my weight loss was pre surgery & maintained for 2 years.

I lost over 2 stone by working out my tdee and by logging everything I consume on My Fitness Pal. I can’t exercise due to health issues and I still lost weight by realising how many calories are actually in things and making better choices. Btw is 2000 for a woman are way over what the average woman should be eating. 2000 calories is for a YOUNG, fit, active woman

Work out your tdee in the link below and reduce calories by 20% to find what calories you should be eating to lose weight. Bear in mind that a sandwich can have as many calories as a, weighed out, calorie controlled roast dinner.
Weight loss is calories in V calories burned (not necessarily by exercise)
