Does anyone have a Springfree trampoline?

I have a 4 and an 8 year old and have avoided getting a trampoline for the garden up to now for fear of accidents and injuries. The eldest has ADHD, ASD and difficulty with gross motor skills and his OT has suggested that a trampoline may be helpful for these so I am seriously considering one but want to be as safe as possible.
Has anyone bought a Springfree trampoline? Are they as good as they sound?

Yes we have and it was our first trampoline. Definitely been worth paying extra for spring free.

Thanks!

My neighbours have one and they rave about it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one myself.

Do you have the means for a buried trampoline (one dug into the ground?) I think they’re a bit safer than traditional ones.

I’ve looked at buried trampolines but can’t find anyone locally who would do it for us!

Yes and my child with ASD loves it. Very safe.

Springfree trampolines are absolutely amazing. We had our for 12 years, and it just kept trucking.

I want one so badly. We got a regular one because of cost.

Springfree are great.

We bought a second hand one from eBay a few weeks ago for our dc (4 & 7) and they love it. 👍🏼

MotheringShites · 13/06/2020 15:32

We’ve had ours for about 7 years and it’s still going strong! My 11 and 9 year olds have used it every single day of lockdown. We often say it’s the best thing we’ve ever bought them.

The bounce surface goes right up to the net so it is probably safer than an in-ground one.

Iggi999 · 13/06/2020 17:04

To be fair, the injuries (nothing serious touch wood) my dc have incurred on the trampoline have been to do with what they did on it (back flip type thing, or two on at once) rather than the trampoline itself. I have a very hyper child and he certainly seems to benefit from it.

Thanks everyone! Am definitely going for the large oval one but they’re all out of stock so will have to wait a while!

When you do get one, it is SO worth paying the extra money to get someone to assemble it for you. I tried assembling a trampoline once and it was a fucking nightmare. The chap from Springfree put it together in just under an hour. Buy through the Springfree website rather than a third party - they are really helpful.
P.S. We've got the large oval one. Definitely worth the wait!

pearpickingporky84 · 14/06/2020 00:26

Thanks for the tip, I’m in NI though and don’t think they’ll do assembly here 😢will ring them on Monday though and find out!

We're in the market for a trampoline as well. Was leaning towards Springfree as have a few friends with them who have only good things to say. But I did a quiz which recommended me the Vuly Ultra. https://bouncearena.com.au/quiz/

Now I'm stuck trying to decide between a regular trampoline and a non-spring one... and I read somewhere that the springless ones aren't as bouncy?
