Women with saggy boobs - help! Is there such thing as a comfortable bra that is also supportive?

My boobs are a 32F and they’re very saggy after kids. Supportive bras make my back feel better, but leave marks and dig into my shoulders, and feel like a torture device, to do the job properly.

Comfortable bras keep my boobs vaguely off my belly Grin but my back hurts at the end of the day because my boobs are so heavy.

I dream of a breast reduction.

But in the meantime, a magic bra?!

I’m the same size as you and I’ve really started hating bras more and more over the last couple of years. Under wires have basically turned into torture devices! The best I’ve found so far that’s both reasonably comfortable and supportive is sports bras. They keep them lifted and strapped in place without underwires and feel more comfortable than standard bras. They also cover more of the chest though so not ideal if you like to wear lower cut tops.

This is my favourite one: www.freyalingerie.com/uk/en/active/high-impact/epic-uw-crop-top-sports-bra-moulded-inner/p/aa4004con/

Ooh thanks PoxyPixie! Good idea on sports bras. Looking at that one now...

Yep torture devices. And I’m short with a short torso, so sometimes I feel like my entire upper body is boob Confused

I wear pull-on bras. They may not give the best look, but they're very comfortable.

Do they give enough support, sueelleker?

My back aches badly after a day of wearing my comfortable bras!

Check Bravissimo but read all the reviews to find one that suits. try the Maya: underwired and looks a little like a crop top. Supportive; gives great shape and feels like nothing on. I bought it because all the amazing reviews.

As a 32H I am a late convert to comfort in the bra department, having always thought I needed underwiring. I now live in these Anya from John Lewis (with padding removed). I find them really comfortable with sufficient support, and have no backache whatsoever.

Join the boob or bust Facebook page, loads of advice on there like how to measure properly, sizing advice etc.

WoollyMammouth · 31/05/2020 12:36

Have you been fitted properly? Difficult now, but try the boob or bust website. I’m 32F and have always got my bras from Bravissimo.

I've lived in sports bras for the past year. No more back aches, but now it's warmer it means a lot of my strappy tops and dresses can't be worn.

These are great suggestions - I am going to check them all out!

I’m not on Facebook unfortunately for that group, shame it sounds right up my street right now!
