What type of flour is this?

Asda are packing their own flour and the label says plain flour. Then under it says strong.
I'd prefer it to be strong so I can use it in my bread maker.

They are selling the flour they use in the bakery so I’d assume it is strong.

It's possibly "all purpose" so, both plain and strong at the same time, but actually neither!

It's bread flour from the in store bakery. I had some, works fine in the bread machine

Does that make it shroedingers flour?

It's wheat flour
It's plain not self raising
It's white not wholemeal
It's strong so higher gluten content suitable for bread rather than pastry, scones or biscuits

Great thanks everyone. I just didn't want to waste all the ingredients if it wasn't suitable for the bread machine.
