I feel like a bit of a failure in lockdown

Friends have have been exercising, reading books, having zoom social events doing lots of baking (yet managing to lose weight) even doing amazing painting artwork with their dc.
I’ve read one book, put weight on, lost weight, put on again and keep forgetting to exercise except for long walks every now and then.
I feel like a bit of a loser and need to up my game. Anyone else?

you're looking after three school-age so home schooling at the moment children, working part time and supporting a husband working long hours. If anybody else posted that, you'd be saying that they were amazing. I'm more of a failure as four of us (two parents/two children working full time) from home ie less stress than you ….and I've put on half a stone :)

I’ve stopped running, too. My last run was exactly two months ago today.

No idea why.

Honestly if you just get through this with your mental health intact, you've 'won' lockdown.
You've had it tough, three kids and a DH working long hours - if the house is still standing and you're all alive, fed, watered etc that's what matters.
Don't compare yourselves to others as we're all in the same storm in different boats or whatever the saying is!

Thank you for all the kind comments. This thread has made me realise that weeks of continually being in a supportive role has taken its toll on me. I haven’t had any time to do what I’ve wanted to do. Not even read. Or if I have, Ive been too tired.
I started the thread because I was feeling low, tired and unhealthy. I know those things connect - feel tired, reach for sugar, get unhealthy and that’s rippling into all aspects of life currently.
I’ve been thinking how to make things better and am starting a new routine from today. Gently Smile Fingers crossed.

The positivity from everyone has been lovely. I don’t think anyone else is a loser and you’re all right. Everyone is trying to get through this in their own way. Flowers
