I don't know about you all but reading the tabloids or any social media, the ones focusing on 'how many deaths' there has been, can really burden your good mood.

So in order to keep my sanity, I've been avoiding watching the news, especially on flouting MPs and just being on my own bubble.

It really does help when you are not bombarded with tragic stories, or celebrities/influencers having "a great time" in their fake-mansions, doesn't it?

Does anyone else feel the same?

I get what you’re saying and it sounds like a good move for you. I like searching for interesting or happy stories, especially in the print media.

Today In The Times, I read about a French cafe where your coffee is cheaper if you ask for it politely and a 13 year old boy who graduated from community college in Los Angeles.

Yes, I think we've all had to work out what we can cope with, or at least what represents a healthy amount of news.

I stayed off of this site from February until now because the incessant handwringing felt too stressful; I'm dipping back in a bit now because there's a bit more balance back.
