What’s the lowest maintenance shed?

What type of material and finish do I need to go for to do the absolute bare minimum to maintain it? Thanks

Ours is metal. Put it up approx 15 years ago, it gets an occasional spray with the hose if we're watering the garden and it's looking a bit dusty, other than that zero maintenance and it's still perfectly secure, no leaks, not wobbly at all.

Thanks, hadn’t thought of metal. Doesn’t it get roasting in summer? Not that I’m planning to spend a lot of time in it!

We have a metal one. It's down the side of our house in the shade. It's zero maintenance and completely dry inside. It does get hot in the summer but we don't keep anything in it that would affected by that. Plastic boxes, lawn mower, tools etc have all been fine in it. I wouldn't keep seeds in there though. There's also no ventilation so I would try to avoid putting anything in there that's wet.

Forgot to say that ours is a completely sealed unit. You're supposed to concrete it in but we just put some flagstones in the bottom to weigh it down and put plywood over top. Never had a problem and it's been there for seven years (and moved it from previous house where it was for around five years).

They no longer do the actual shed we have, but we got ours from these guys. Can't recommend them enough.

We got a plastic one from b&q, it’s great, just requires a wash down and doesn’t need any treatment

Thanks for the recommendations
