Is current SexEd in schools/colleges/unis 'grooming' children/teenagers?

Started a previous thread, called - 'Safety of Women/Children re. Single Sex Spaces Being Removed' - but new to site, so don't know how to add another comment to my original post, thus, have started a new thread with it instead, which is below:

Can Mumsnet, as an organization, take on The Dept of Education in regard to some of the shocking and deeply concerning subjects now being taught to children/young people, I wonder?

I'm particularly concerned about children being told there are 100 Genders and that they might be 'in the wrong body', alongside being told about porn, one school in particular asking children to do homework on this subject (!!). There have also been schools allowing Drag Queens in to read to children, yet, the Drag Scene is highly sexual/pornographic/perverted, so WHY are such people allowed anywhere near children? What is the point behind it, the agenda?

It would appear that Stonewall has a hand in everything children/young people are being told now, in relation to sex education, along with Mermaids too, both of whom are hugely promoting the Trans Agenda.

Some very disturbing things have come into public knowledge in recent months and we need, as parents/grandparents, to stand up and protect children, to ensure absolute safeguards are in place for them and that parents are fully informed as to what their children are being taught in regard to sexual/gender matters.

We ARE that 'someone else' most people wait for.

This has to be done by parents, in conjunction with putting pressure on political Parties too, as many of them are backing some deeply concerning, and in my view, 'grooming' behaviour now being taught to children and young people.

Thank you again
Ellen

You might get flamed on here for the way you have structured your post but I agree with some of what you say. Some of the things I have seen being taught under the guise of 'inclusivity' have made me blink in disbelief. Recent highlight has been the dice game created by a lobbying charity that got money from the tampon tax fund. The game was aimed at 13 year olds FFS and was clearly grooming them for premature sexual activity.
Btw, you can't expect Mumsnet (as a company) to lobby against this. Mumsnet is in enough trouble as it is for allowing women to have a voice.

There is a huge discrepancy in what is taught in schools to young people in the UK. I’ve heard of schools who only teach girls sex Ed as if the responsibility is on them and them alone. Young men really do need support to understand what a healthy mutual relationship consists of just as females do. The rise of porn availability to our young is having devestating effects that aren’t being countered in schools or st home for many.
Studies show that many teachers don’t feel confident to teach sex Ed as they haven’t been trained for it. Our teachers need the training they are the only people qualified to deliver information to our children. No one else should be allowed anywhere near a school they are simply not qualified.

Please escuse the typos.

Also- academies aren’t required by law to teach sex Ed.
