what would you buy?

Good friend’s birthday coming up, and I want to get her something she’d really like rather than the normal chocolates/flowers/candles. What would you love if it was you?

Lush goodies is a good shout. I'm also a fan of food. Any baked good or cheese

What about a beauty subscription box one off?

I'd get a Clarins perfume - Eau Ressourçante or Eau Dynamissante - they are very light so you can spray them all over the body and they keep you feeling really fresh all day. I love them. They are about £30 afaik.

Or L'Occitane Verbena body bath. Or Neal's Yard geranium bath oil.

Or a white duster coat for summer (Boohoo has them for as little as £15!)

@ArseholesOnToast – stop with your cheese descriptions with crackers and chutney. I’ve put on nearly a stone and I blame cheese. And people like you with your careless cheese and chutney talk.

If I had 30 quid I would go for the summer selection box from hotel chocolat and eat them all to myself while watching White Lines and pretending not to stare at the bouncer.

She’s a mum friend so we’re close but quite recent if you see what I mean.

She has a lovely home and buys really nice things for her kids and other people, and there’s nothing she really ‘needs’ in terms of stuff. But she doesn’t tend to treat herself which is why I would like to treat her.
