What will get rid of the wrinkle forming between my eyebrows?

Ok other than Botox or any other expensive procedure, WHAT will get rid of - or at least improve- the deep wrinkle that is forming between my 36 year old eye brows?

Someone must know a miracle cream or something?

Things I’ve tried so far-

  • the Olay regenerist range
  • retinol serum
  • upping my water intake to 200 gallons a day
  • cutting sugar
  • more fruit & veg
  • telling it to go away with an angry tone
  • telling it nicely to please leave
  • lighting a candle, whilst staring into the mirror and praying to the skin gods
  • bathing in the tears of a unicorn with the hairs from a Norwegian elf

Thank you please x

Mine is £250. I think anything cheaper than £200 is suspiciously cheap to be honest with you. I have had it done for £150 with a previous practise and whilst it was a good result it didn’t last as long and she used a different substance, not Botox. Nor did she offer a free assessment and top up if needed after two weeks. Do your research on where to go. I do not consider myself looking done at all and I don’t think anyone suspect I have it done! I’m not particularly high maintenance beauty wise, it’s literally the only thing I have done. Makes me feel so much better and worth every penny. Initially I went every 12 weeks, but I need it less frequently now. As you stop exercise the muscle by frowning, it gets smaller and weaker and the result lasts longer.

£60 is v cheap. I pay £150 every 6 months for 1 area. Free top up if needed (never been needed). Done by a fantastic nurse in the North West.

A vial of botox typically costs the provider around £125 so expect to pay that plus some for the admininstration. Botox works great on those lines and lasts between 3 - 6 months. School of thought is to actually then get it re-done before it completely disappears so when perhaps it is 80% gone rather than 100%. My GP does mine privately so very convenient too.

I’m so tempted too, but can’t find anyone who I know has had it. There’s no way I’d go without a recommendation

Get your eyes tested too if you don’t already do so regularly. I got the beginnings of ‘elevens’ from frowning slightly when squinting to see certain things and wearing the correct glasses regularly has helped to smooth it a bit.

Thanks everyone.

(Can rule out eyes I wear glasses and contact lenses and both are bang up to date)

When lockdown is over I am going to have a go at Botox. Can’t really afford it but I’m always spending my hard earned money on the kids (probably where the wrinkles come from) then it’s time for some money on MEEEEEE!!!
