Have a dc (home edded) with literally no idea of what job she wants to do and therefore no idea of what degree.
Doing history, politics, psych at A level.
I wondered if there are any other parents of lost students out there? It's causing quite a lot of angst at the moment.

How about an animal husbandry/welfare type course? Look at agriculture colleges, or perhaps ask a zoo what kind of qualifications they would look for. (If she likes the idea of working with giraffes.)

My ds is Y12 and doesn't know what he wants to do either (doing history, politics and Spanish A levels).

He is really enjoying politics, and so might do a politics/IR/Law degree, but doesn't know what he wants to do afterwards. I can't get him to really show an interest in universities though, whereas I enjoyed reading all the prospectuses and working out where to go when I was in sixth form.

He wasn't going to do an EPQ but I did suggest that doing something on all the controversy and issues around a contact tracing app could be an easy win and combine both politics and law. 5000 words isn't that much, really and he might need the extra UCAS points after the debacle of this academic year.
