When do you think I'll be able to hire a hall for an exam?

So, this is really niche, and I can't work out which category we would come under.
I tutor students, I'm currently do that online. Usually in July they sit a mock exam. In a hall, each at a desk, easily 2 m or more apart.

I know that we can easily comply with social distancing etc, there are only 6 of them and they can drop off, I can clean desks, have hand sanitiser, etc etc.

But it is not outside. I am just wondeting which category we are in and how I will know if and when we can go ahead. Of course at the moment I can't hire the hall either. But I may be able to if the owners know what I plan to do (ie I'm not hiring it for a kids party)

What do you think?

Try speaking to your local churches, they may be willing to hire out the church hall under these circumstances. I think things will start to ease from June when a lot more shops and potentially schools start opening etc.

Thanks.
yes I ususlaly hire a church hall, or a room at the library (woudl prefer the church hall for space now)

I don't want to break the rules, and I'm not sure where this would fit. Do I need to wait until leisure activities are allowed to open?

I guess if the hall will hire it to me, then I can go ahead?

Churches aren’t hiring halls for funerals or meetings so I doubt this would be possible.

Is there a reason you’re giving yourself/tour students this extra cost?

Couldn’t you post the exams to them and then host a zoom meeting for them to take the test in a timed manner?

They point of the mock is not really the results, it is to experience an exam in a hall under exam conditions.

They take the real test in September, and this is one step in preparation.

(I can usually pretty accurately predict the score they will get, but some kids are throw by the context of an exam, so this helps them prepare)
