I can make a rash on my body if I scratch myself

I seem to have increasingly sensitive skin, to the point where if I have an insect bite, or a scratch, or even just dry skin that I scratch at I will get lots of red bumps that appear and are then itchy and then I scratch it more and it gets much worse.

In the first picture I had a scratch on my knee (you can almost see a faint line) and then I scratched it and all do the red spots appeared and have outlasted the original scratch.

Likewise in the second picture I had a burn which has become dry and is now itchy, and I again have spots appearing.

Is this just a weird thing I have? To be allergic to scratching?

Can't answer your question but I find e45 itch relief cream helps break the itch/scratch cycle

I think I've got some somewhere! That's just it, if I can stop scratching long enough then it stops being itchy but at the moment I seem to be scratching everywhere and I'm beginning to look like one enormous rash.

I think it’s called dermatographia.

I have dermatographia, it means I can do this with just a scratch!

I saw that online but I don't think it's the same as @SingleHandSue, that's way cooler! Sometimes I'll get big red stripes if I scratch myself but it doesn't get raised like that. Maybe I have the lame version Hmm
