Thinking of ordering a two person one

There’s a non branded one available 50quis or an intex one 100
But I’m not sure what the normal price is and if they have put the prices up she to the current situation ?

So anyway, just wondering if it’s worth ordering ?

Both v. good. Robust and easy to inflate.

Partner ordered and spent a bit of time reading reviews.

We have the intex one too. It’s fine for two people and seems robust enough. Plenty of them about near here (West Canada).

We have one. And a normal one.

I wouldn't use an inflatable on the sea or anywhere that wind etc could cause serious issues.

Twickerhun · 21/05/2020 19:35

We have one cost A little more than £100 - it’s great Would be careful where we took it out at sea And who was in it at the time but it’s generally Great for rivers or lakes

Lardlizard · 22/05/2020 09:45

Oh that’s true about the sea, I guess the wind could carry it off pretty quick if the wind got up

We have inflatable kayaks and they are fab. We have Itiwit ones from Decathlon. Very robust and stable.

We bought the aldi one a few years ago. It was about £49 , it managed a few trips on a lake near a beach but then sank! We disposed of it & didn’t bring home.

northernlittledonkey · 22/05/2020 09:51

My advice would be don’t go for the cheap ones!

Thebookswereherfriends · 22/05/2020 09:57

We bought quite an expensive, robust, good quality one, but did not realise how heavy they are! At the time we had a beach hut and we stored it in there and then would pump it up and have to carry it down to the sea (couldn’t pump it up by the water as it’s quite steep). You can’t drag them as it might damage it. After 2 summers of using it, not that often because they are hard work to pump up as well, we had to sell it because I just couldn’t manage to help my partner carry it.

I’ve ordered one of the 100 quid ones
