Sorry, OP, it brought to mind the sketch from Mitchell and Webb, about a dry cleaning company discussing the potential name 'Touching Cloth'. Smile

DanglySpider · 20/05/2020 19:12

lmao at 'Touching Cloth', @Museum - unfortunately our surname is fairly common (think something like a biblical first name, like Matthews), so it's not very inspiring. And everything we can think of just leads to either boring or overused names - like, we met in a pub named after an animal but there are a thousand 'colour animal' names - red cow, blue deer, black lamb. Anagrams of our initials come up with unfortunate words like EGI, GEI, IGE - if you include kids you get gems like 'glower', 'ergo', 'grew' and 'glow'. Hmm

And HappyHammy, it's not really themed other than 'film and theatre' productions at the moment - don't want to discount doing kids stuff, but the shorts and theatre planned at the moment are all grown-up stories. (Not adult, lol!)

Aquamarine1029 · 20/05/2020 19:28

What about...

Rosy Rocket Productions

SciFiScream · 20/05/2020 19:32

Muddy Rocket

Other ideas:
Place name of where you met?
A stage direction? ExitLeft or similar?

DanglySpider · 20/05/2020 19:49

We met online technically, but first time in person was a boring train station, we went to a pub called The Lamb, so all not very exciting sounding stuff. We hate where we live (long story) - I suppose we could something to do with music, as we're both also musicians? He plays guitar, I play cello and piano, so maybe something like Turn Up the Bass? Bass Clef?

LambLight Productions.

You could have a great logo made using a lamb.

DontLookBackYappityYap · 20/05/2020 19:56

Lyrical Lamb Production Ltd.

WhoWouldHaveThoughtThat · 20/05/2020 20:12

@Aquamarine1029

... and a light! Fantastic!

This marketing marlarkly is really easy. Give me another!

DanglySpider · 20/05/2020 21:08

I like those - DH suggested 'on the lam' as it's an expression, but I don't like how it doesn't trip off the tongue, nor the meaning (which is to be on the run from the police.) It was going to be Hatpin productions, as my first script was a period drama (think female Peaky Blinders), but that's me, not both of us!

Ok, so now we're going with Gog Magog Productions, as DH is from near where they're supposed to lie, and I like the whole 'two giants' thing, the protector of London thing, I have Jewish associations, so it fits. And I don't think it's taken.

For your sake, I’m really glad you asked.
