How do you store a variety of herbal teabags?

My cupboards are exoploding and am trying to streamline.
My issue of the day is teabags. I have an old tin of mixed herbal teabags, individually wrapped, which no-one ever uses - that suggests to me that whatever I store teabags in, it needs to be transparent and easily accessible.
I've also got about 12 different boxes of different teas ( for different moods/purposes) and some of them are my son's. Mine are mainly medicinal ( various mint for gastric /ginger for coughs/cammomile for sleeping etc) and a few berry flavoured ones. His are different, and he tries out lots as substitutes for ordinary tea and coffee which he no longer drinks due a recently diagnosed lactose intolerance. I'm just giving the background to explain why we need so many varieties!
I have one shelf in a small kitchen on which to keep all teas and coffees. I don't want them out on the surface.
To add to this, DH only drinks decaff coffee, DS has a specialist coffee that he only drinks occasionally, I have a stove pot for morning espresso, and ordinary Nescafe for other times, plus i keep coffee bags for the odd time when when it's what I'd prefer/visitors. Plus ordinary teabags. So that's 5 different types of coffee, as well, sometimes more if I try a different instant coffee.
So how I can store all this? Has anyone got any handy boxes/stacking things/tips that they can recommend?

I struggle with storing these things too so won't be much help. I have found since I put a selection of individually wrapped herbal teas in a wee basket next to the kettle I am drinking them more often. They are nicely fitted into the basket so it looks good. I store my ground coffee in a jar in the fridge. Loose tea in jars next to kettle. I do find if I don't have things out I don't use them. So I will follow this thread with interest.

Thanks for your reply Peanuts. I agree with you that we are more likely to use things if they are out, or at least visible.
I've rationalised a bit, and notice that individually wrapped teabags need to be treated differently from loose ones - they need to be separately stored and labelled.
It doesn't hep that my kitchen is so tiny!

You can get tea selection boxes like the ones they use in hotels, but they're a bit big: www.twinings.co.uk/TwiningsUKI/media/product/CBW120614-FW/selection-box-large_angle-right.png

I was thinking about getting one, but then I came across an old wine gift box - much more compact (particularly if you can stand it on end in your cupboard) and you can get a good number of different sorts of tea in it. This kind of thing: www.drinksdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Wood_Box_SL_1_Bottle.html

UnaOfStormhold, that wine box is an interesting idea, just thinking how best to utilise it!
There are some lovely wooden tea caddies online but they take up a lot of space footprintwise - something stackable might work better.

I have a teabag organiser, can't find the exact one on amazon now. It has 9 pullout drawers for teabags (3 x3) and underneath 2 longer drawers which we store hot chocolate sachets in one and any leftover condiments from takeaways in the other.
The Downside is that Pukka teabags fit perfectly buy Twinings don't, they are a smudge too big so don't lay flat which is annoying and possibly a disadvantage of other 'drawer' storage options.

It works really well for wrapped herb tea bags, takes up minimal room in the cupboard and very easy to flick through and choose the right flavour! Mine has a clear lid but I've not been able to find that sort in the shops. I also have a set of Williamson elephant tea tins for my black tea - not as space efficient but they do make me smile. Stackable boxes might work better for the coffee etc.
