Feel so down and angry and don't know how to feel better

I know we are all in the same boat. I'm just so sick of the restrictions. I haven't been anywhere and all I seem to do is clean and home school so a bit of my own work. Dh is at work and doesn't do much really regarding cooking and sorting clothes or household cleaning. He thinks he is great and actually said he is a great help. If I ask him to read with the dc (he has no clue as to what work they do) he will do a few mins. It's got to the point I went to bed this afternoon to get away them a drive at bedtime so he had to do it. It's not just that.. he can be very boring Confused and now I am boring. I used to have my own life before this lockdown and now I just feel like a skivvy.

You are not alone in finding this very difficult. I am HCP and out at work every day but the relentless routine at home and daily 'groundhog' day feeling is really getting to me. Yesterday I left for work early just so I could have 20 mins and a takeaway coffee in the car on my own.
I'm not sure I have much advice except to try and share with your dh how you feel. Could you do something together to give you something different to talk about? Get a takeaway so that you're not endlessly cooking?
This too will pass.

I think many people are feeling like this. Normally I have to drop the children to school breakfast club and then rush to catch my train to Central London. I'm so thankful that I don't have to do that now. But, that has been replaced with working from home full time whilst looking after two primary school aged children. I barely leave the house and I'm with the children 24/7.

Since lockdown, I've got new hobbies to fill my time and this has really helped as it's important to take some time for yourself.

I am learning a new language via Duolingo and practice for 5-15 minutes everyday. I read book/magazines for free through my library's app. I'm spending more time on my appearance (manicure/pedicure, face masks etc). I wear perfume most days as a pick me up. I sometimes bake cakes/bread and try new recipes.

I'm looking at lockdown as an opportunity to get to do things that I am normally too busy to do and have a list of all of my 'achievements' eg how many books I have read, recipes I have tried.

Thank You yes it might be a good idea to get things done. I must buy some new books. I have done a bit of gardening and planted / diy
