Do you know of any (diagnosed) aspergers who are "popular" socially?
Not just have a few friends but lots. If so, I'd love to hear such stories :)

@JanMeyer i think youre conflating two seperate issues there.
Its pretty clear to me that there are loads of people out there on the spectrum who have no need for a diagnosis or find the diagnostic process either terrifying or just too hard to navigate.

The insisting autism is a gift thing, comes just as much from diagnosed people as undiagnosed, and tbh, ive only ever really encountered it on online autistic message boards or autism advocacy pages. Not in real life where noone is impressed with it at all. Far from it.
