Is slendertone worth it?

My hubby has bought my a slendertone bundle. I've always thought they were a load of crap and I'm a little upset about it as I'm pregnant and aware I'm gaining lbs.

Before I send it back, is it worth holding on to for post-baby? Or is it as crap as I think?

The Slendertone isn’t the only thing I’d be binning off.

And no, it doesn’t work wonders unless you have very low body fat, in which case you’d get better results from ten minutes of sit ups each day.

Babyshine2020 · 10/05/2020 13:53

This is what I thought.
You have to get rid of the fat to see the muscle anyway!

I've always sat comfortably at a size 12 and at 30 I've only put on 5kgs. I've joked that I'm going to walk the wheels of our pram once baby is here but I don't even think I'll have the commitment to spend 30 mins x 3 body parts EVERY SINGLE DAY

Absolutely rubbish.

Well it was my birthday present and it made me cry not so happy tears, but apparently the reviews are "amazing" glad to see I'm not the only one with the opinion they're crap.

If they were that good nobody would be at the gym and we'd all look amazing..

Unless actually requested, that has to be one of the worst presents ever. Even tops the frying pan I was given once by ex.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 10/05/2020 14:21

Did you ask for it? A weightloss gift from my husband would have me kicking him out on his arse!

Babyshine2020 · 10/05/2020 14:55

No I didn't, that's why I cried.

I've mentioned a spin bike and wanting to loose weight after baby, and said I'd be walking everywhere with the dog and baby. I've always mentioned they're shit when I've seen them.

He's amazing and has the best intentions, and I know he's done it thinking it'll be easy to lose weight once baby is here and not wanting me to be unhappy with my post baby body. I don't expect to be in my jeans a week after the baby, I know it'll take time but I've accepted that and I've never had an amazing figure anyway, pretty average!

Get him to send it back. Maybe look at a Paleton bike but not til you are way past the birth and recovery.
