Could anyone please identify the little white frothy flower in the pots? Probably not the best photo, sorry

Could it be Bacopa? Annual bedding plant.

motherofdragon · 10/05/2020 11:26

There's an app for this. It's called plantspot: just take a photo and it will tell you what it is

hawleybits · 10/05/2020 20:04

This is the best, and only photo I have, so I doubt the app would work. It's just a little garden I love and I especially like the white plant.

If it's Bacopa then I already have one in my garden but it's huge! I think it could be though

Try the Gardening section of MN. Very knowledgeable

hawleybits · 10/05/2020 20:10

Do the little white flowers of Bacopa close up in the evening, when the sun goes down? That's what the white flowers on my plant do.

Maybe Cistus hybridus?

hawleybits · 10/05/2020 20:14

Could also be Cistus hybridus, although I think the centre is very yellow.

Could it be a white potentilla?

steppemum · 11/05/2020 13:34

Is it like that now?
Bacopa is a bedding plant, doesn't survive the winter (unless no frost) and unlikely to be thta size already.

hawleybits · 11/05/2020 23:57

Sorry for the late response. Yes, my plant is perennial and is currently in bloom but is approximately 3 feet tall.

Knittedfaries I think you could probably be right about I'm sure this is what I was looking at outside Waitrose, and there was also a lilac variety. The white potentilla is so pretty! I'm going to buy some.
Thanks everyone for your help.
