Anyone else sick of the sound of their own voice?

I'd say DS is doing OK in general with doing his school work at home, but my god does it take a lot of nagging to get him to focus and get on with it. If I hear myself say one more time "DS are you getting on with your work" I may lose it. There are far too many distractions at home. Is anyone else finding the same? Anyone found a way to minimise distractions and persuade them to just get on with it?

I’m sick of seeing my own face, in FaceTime & Zoom calls, they are not flattering!!

Probably not useful but I've lowered my expectations considerably.
If they're playing I think "they're using their imagination, good", if they're arguing, they're "learning negotiation/debating skills", running around is clearly PE.
Previously, I had been considering recording my top ten statements so I didn't have to keep saying them.

Thankfully I haven't got involved in too many video calls, but you are right, definitely not flattering!

My standards are pretty low but I don't want to give up altogether on the school work, or he'll end up spending his whole days shouting at the PlayStation.
