Making your own wedding album?

I’ve been married a few years and never got round to making a wedding album what with house moving and renovation! My photographer offered them but I found them extremely pricey. Has anyone made their own online? Tips and recommendations appreciated

Yes we used photobox (with a discount code) for family copies

Lovely quality, the same quality as the one our photographer made, but about 5 times less pricey xx

scrapbook with printouts?

a few years on I doubt family will be interested. Just make it for yourself.

We used photobox too but wait for a 50% discount...

Following this as I think we will do the same. Photographers price was hundreds of pounds.

I’ve used Photobox for holiday photo albums but interested if there is a more of a mid range photo book. I do want it to be slightly more fancy!

I used Blurb to make ours. Their lay flat books are lovely and their website is easy to use.

I used DS colour labs for mine, it was the programme my photographer would have used. It cost a lot less to do it myself and the album is beautiful.

I recommend Papier - they have nice ones and v easy to use

Dh recently made one for a relative who’d never had an album, from a lot of photos stored on the laptop and sorted out/arranged via Snapfish (I think.)
Relative was delighted with it. Album came with particularly nice photos supersized on front and back covers.

Not peanuts but well worth it IMO.

Yes I used photobox. A lot of the time your favourites won't be the photographers favourites and if you do your own you have page by page control. I'd have only found fault with a photographers design choices so it wasn't even a cost issue really

We made our own. Just got a lovely album with black pages and a nice cover and then got the right amount of photos printed. The album was one that takes one large photo on a page so it looks good I think! Photos are tucked in so it gives a tidy finish.

I used photo box bought on Black Friday with 50%off. I thought the quality was good but I found it really time consuming and I didn't even have that many photos, if I were to do it again I'd probably just pay the extra for a professional to do

@mencken

The family one I made was pictures of family members as a keepsake. Not pictures solely of the wedding . We had candid photos and some lovely ones, and my parents loved it! x

I have just received a copy of DDs done n Bonus Print, cost £55. Looks really good. I’ve been married since 1984 and paid £350 so sounds ok to me.
