Does anyone know where you can find a ‘complex’ mortgage overpayment calculator?

DH and I are part way through a fixed rate deal.

We have been overpaying, until now, by x amount a month.

For the rest of the fixed term, we hope to overpay x+y a month.

I’m hoping to be able to work out how much we might owe by the end of the fixed term, but no calculators I can find calculate a variable overpayment amount.

Any ideas?

Just realised my post may seem insensitive to those who are struggling at the moment. I hope it doesn’t offend.

My mate built one using this link

www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Mortgage-Calculator-With-Microsoft-Excel

I have a copy and it's great. Can vary overpayments month to month. Both regular and one off lumps. Shows how Much interest you save and how many years you knock off.

If you aren't confident building it DM me your email and I'll drop you a copy of the base sheet if you're ok with that

Excel and make it yourself.
Or, use the online ones stepwise.
So, enter initial payments, and take the outstanding when you started overpayments.
Take remaining time, balance, and change the payment to increased amount.
Repeat for the point you want to increase the overpayments from.
For me, excel would probably be quicker, but I used to use it daily.

I found one linked via a money saving expert forum post that was amazing. I think you’d find it with google. You could set parameters and you could put in overpayments at any month over the entire length of the mortgage and it had some automatic charts from what I can remember and a comparison tool.

All sorted, thank you all.
