Yep

incognitomum · 29/04/2020 18:51

Yes

Xiaoxiong · 29/04/2020 18:57

Isn't it already cooked when you buy it? I'd definitely cook and eat it unless it smelled bad. (And that applies to everything, in or out of date...)

Lucked · 29/04/2020 18:59

Yes it has a long shelf life so unless it had been mucked about with (in and out the fridge) 2 days wouldn’t worry me.

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 29/04/2020 18:59

Yes. Just make sure it's well cooked.

minipie · 29/04/2020 19:01

Yes! It’s a preserved meat, they last for donkeys.

UserDeleted · 29/04/2020 19:01

Yes. I googled just this question last week! It was fine, tasted just as good, and noone was ill.

Elouera · 29/04/2020 19:01

Yes- Assuming it smells fine, isn't slimy and cooked till piping hot.

Ffsnosexallowed · 29/04/2020 19:23

It's not cooked when you get it?????? Not a preserved meat?

iklboo · 29/04/2020 19:38

Yes. With bacon and mustard mayo on a barm.

BayandBlonde · 29/04/2020 20:56

I suppose you could class cooked pigs blood as a preserved meat Confused

YippieKayakOtherBuckets · 29/04/2020 20:58

Yes. Lovely stuff (and completely brilliant for getting your iron levels up)

inwood · 29/04/2020 22:16

No because it's rank. However if I liked it I can't see it being an issue it's boiled when you buy it isn't it?

Pipandmum · 29/04/2020 22:18

Yep

Xiaoxiong · 30/04/2020 10:25

After my previous question I went and googled, it is cooked - it's boiled first, then sliced up and packaged. When you cook it at home you're just warming it through and making it lovely and crispy on the outside.

BarbaraofSeville · 30/04/2020 10:45

Yes it's already cooked but it's far nicer when it is fried until it is hot and crispy, preferably in the bacon fat that you are eating it with.

Yes, I'd probably eat it 2 days out of date as long as it looks and smells like it should, it has a reasonably long date when you buy it, which is likely to include a safety margin.
